GeoSketch — QA Review
Field reps draw in GeoSketch and send the sheet to Drive. Your job is to open that order ticket, check the sketch against photos and public record, fix it, and send again so the JPG on the BlueSky order is the final client sheet.
Where the files live
- Google Drive folder JMI FieldSketch
- Live sketch (editable): OT-{ticket}.json — a few KB, auto-saved
- Client sheet (photo): OT-{ticket}-{address}.jpg — created on Send to BlueSky

The JPG is a picture. You cannot move walls on the JPG. Always Load saved sketch in GeoSketch, edit there, then Send again.
Open a job
- From BlueSky, copy the OT (the number at the end of the QA URL).
- Open GeoSketch.
- Paste the OT in Order ticket.
- Tap Load saved sketch.
- You should see the field drawing (aerial or tape) with the same boxes and labels.
If Load says no sketch: the field rep sent a JPG without a usable JSON, or used the wrong OT. Open Drive, confirm OT-{ticket}.json exists, or redraw from the JPG and photos.
What to check

| Footprint | Trace follows roof/walls. No driveway, no patio counted as dwelling. |
| Story heights | 1 vs 1.5 vs 1.75 vs 2 vs 2.75 vs 3.75 from ground photos and roof planes. Tag each box. |
| Garage | Attached vs built-in vs half-story vs basement. Living above must be tagged or GLA is short. |
| Porch / balcony / deck | Separate boxes. OP = open porch, EP = enclosed porch. Living above a porch is rare — only if it is truly finished area. |
| U-shapes | Dwelling U is one (or more) living boxes. The fill (porch/garage) is its own box. Each label sits inside its own section. |
| GLA total | Layers panel living SF vs expected. Public record is a clue, not the sketch. |
| Sheet | Open the sheet view. Stamps read story first: 1/B, 1.75/S, 1/AG, AG, OP, EP. |
How to edit
- Move a finished box: drag the fill.
- Stretch a wall: drag the handle on that side.
- Add a porch/garage: tap an existing wall, draw the new box, Close area.
- Undo last wall (phone: undo icon). Clear drawing only if you mean to wipe that mode.
- Tap a box → Layers → change Type, Stories, Foundation, garage kind, stories above.
Edits auto-save to that OT in Drive. You do not need a separate Save.
Send the corrected sheet
- Tap the cloud (Send to BlueSky).
- Wait for Saved to Google Drive.
- That overwrites OT-{ticket}-{address}.jpg and the JSON.
- GrokBot (or you) attach the new JPG on https://hq.blueskyvue.com/#/orders/qa/{OT}.
If you only download a JPG and drop it on the order without Send, the next Load will still be the old drawing. Always Send from GeoSketch after QA edits.
QA checklist (tick on the order)
- ☐ OT loaded; address matches the order
- ☐ Dwelling / garage / porch are separate sections
- ☐ Story heights match photos
- ☐ Garage kind and living-above are correct
- ☐ GLA is reasonable vs walkthrough / record
- ☐ Sheet labels are centered in the right boxes
- ☐ Send to BlueSky succeeded
- ☐ JPG is on the BlueSky order
When to kick back to the field
- No OT / cannot load and photos are not enough to redraw.
- Wrong building sketched.
- Missing story-height photos on a complicated roof (1½ vs 2).
